The People and Culture board area enables the organization to
develop the skills, culture and workforce needed for successful
execution of SAP strategy and so delivers towards our success.The
Change & Culture unit is a new addition to P&C with the mandate
to provide a systematic change architecture and consistent
approaches to culture and change across SAP building on best in
practice approaches. The C&C head reports directly to the
Executive Board member Gina Vargiu and orchestrates evolving the
culture and building change capacity in the organization.Our team
is a people-focused organization dedicated to driving positive and
sustainable change with the mandate and expertise to design and
implement organizational development (OD) interventions and change
management strategies that empower people, foster resilience, and
build SAP's capacity for change. We build and nurture communities
and networks through which we deliver change management for
strategic programs and scale to all employees.Our internal
customers for Change Management are teams and leaders across the
company whose organizations are impacted by shifts in processes,
ways of working, re-organizations, and other changes. Our OD
practice focuses on interventions with leaders, teams and
individual contributors to evolve SAP culture such that it supports
growth of the business and a thriving work environment.Change
Management Expert - This role will focus on the design and
implementation of change strategies to ensure large projects have a
people-centered change approach. The ideal candidate will have a
deep understanding of how to lead change that is empathetic and
supportive while delivering measurable business outcomes. You will
work closely with senior leaders, project management teams, HRBPs
and other stakeholders to implement change. Key responsibilities
include:
- Serve as the primary change manager for large-scale, strategic
projects across SAP.
- Lead the design and execution of holistic change management
strategies that address the human impact of change and
transformation and guide people along the change journey.
- Apply principles of human-centered design to ensure that change
initiatives prioritize the needs and experiences of the people
impacted by change.
- Build strong relationships and be a valuable partner to
sponsors, team leads, HRBPs, the project team and internal
stakeholders to ensure alignment on change.
- Mentor and support change agents in the organization and in our
networks.
- Actively support the development of a learning community of
change managers, providing guidance on the SAP approach to change
and supporting their work in their respective parts of the
organization.
- Work closely with stakeholders especially HRBPs.
- Lead/facilitate in train-the-trainer sessions to raise change
capacity in the organization.
- Support, coach and engage senior leaders.YOUR PROFILE
- 6-10 years of working experience in supporting complex change
projects at the enterprise level.
- Master's degree or equivalent in social science, business, or
equivalent. Professional certification in OD and/or change
management, PROSCI certification desirable.
- Experience in large organizations necessary. Able to work
globally.
- Engaged in professional networks and aware of developments in
OD and culture change.
- Able to interact on eye level with people in different parts of
the organization.
- Empathy and active listening.
- Strategic and systems thinking.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and storytelling.
- Resilience and adaptability in the face of ambiguity.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
- Project management skills a plus.
- Working with German and international organizations not
necessary but an advantage.Location: EST time zone; Washington, DC

Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency
contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a
significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay
equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of
base salary and variable incentive target for the career level
applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this
position is 141,800-323,900 (USD). The actual amount to be offered
to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent
upon the key aspects of each case which may include education,
skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined
