Job Description:

Continuous Delivery Engineer/ DevOps Engineer



SUMMARY:



You would be a key member of our IT development team, which is responsible for the definition, development and testing of internal and external business applications. Your primary role will be to expand our competencies in Continuous Integration and Delivery.



Working with both the development and operations teams, you will help define the tools and strategies used by IT to foster a culture that embraces automation and DevOps processes.



You should possess the experience and qualifications to perform the core responsibilities, such as:



? Identify and evaluate Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools that will facilitate building and deployment of various application components and system compontents


?


? Define and develop delivery work-flows by analyzing business/technical requirements and system designs


?


? Support and enhance existing delivery pipeline implementations


?


? Develop and revise infrastructure automation scripts


?


? Develop audit reports that track software and infrastructure changes for management and security


?


? Effectively utilize tools such as Jenkins for build automation, Puppet for infrastructure automation, and Git for code management



What qualifications are required?



? Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. A minimum of 2 years of hands on development experience in Configuration Management tools.



? Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of Continuous Integration practices and tools (Bamboo, Jenkins). Demonstrated knowledge of Continuous Delivery practices and Configuration Management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible). Experience with Java based build tools, preferably Gradle. Experience working in UNIX/Linux. Experience with scripting languages (Ruby, Python). Experience with MS Windows automation and cloud technologies a plus.



? Abilities: Excellent problem solving skills; ability to multi-task within tight deadlines; excellent organizational skills; self-directed and results/goal oriented. Strong oral and written communication skills.



? Education: Bachelor?s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience. Financial services industry experience is considered a plus.
