Job Description:
Empower Change and Innovate: Join Us as a Therapist/Clinician
Are you a passionate therapist or clinician (LCSW, LPC*, LMFT*)
looking for a role that offers autonomy, community impact, and
opportunities for innovation? The Center for Attachment & Trauma
Services, a respected 501(c)(3) organization with 19 years of
dedicated service, invites you to be part of our transformative
team. *Residents may also apply. About Us: We are a long-standing
organization devoted to supporting children and families who have
experienced abuse, neglect, and placement disruptions. Our mission
is to educate and provide services to individuals, families, and
the public about building healthy connections and forming secure
attachments. Our clinical expertise is in healing attachment wounds
and trauma resolution for children and their families, including
those in foster care or adopted. We also work with adults
addressing unresolved childhood trauma. Why Join Us? Autonomy and
Flexibility: At CATS, you will have the freedom to set your own
schedule, and choose your work environment. Whether you prefer
virtual sessions through our secure, HIPAA-compliant platform or
in-person work at our offices in Burke, VA, and/or Gainesville, VA,
the choice is yours. Opportunities for Innovation: We are excited
to support the development of new group programs that foster
community, reduce gatekeeping, provide creative expression, and
empower collective healing. Clinicians will also have a unique
chance to be a part of creating and leading group programs that
support collective healing for clients, clinicians and the
community at-large. Advocacy and Systemic Change: Be part of our
commitment to advocating for systemic change. You will have the
opportunity to engage in initiatives aimed at addressing and
reforming the systems in our community that perpetuate trauma and
oppression. Your voice and ideas will create a more just and
affirming environment for your clients and the community.
Supportive Environment: Benefit from our weekly peer support
meetings, where you can discuss challenging cases and collaborate
with fellow clinicians. To recognize and reward your dedication, we
offer a higher-than-average percentage of your therapy fees.
Professional Development: If you are an LMFT or LPC resident,
utilize on-site supervision with our Executive Director. LCSW
trainees will receive assistance in finding an appropriate outside
supervisor. Licensure is not required, making this an ideal
opportunity for those still in training. Competitive Compensation:
Contracted clinicians enjoy competitive gross pay with full-time
(20-25 direct contact hours) clinicians earning over $90,000
annually and part-time clinicians making approximately
$45,000-50,000 annually. Our intention in 2025 is to expand
compensation options to include contract or employee positions.
Employee option would include an employer-sponsored benefits
package. Contracted clinicians will be responsible for their own
health and professional liability insurance. Join Us and Make an
Impact: If you are enthusiastic about working with trauma-affected
children, adults and families, eager to innovate and develop
impactful programs, and committed to advocating for systemic
change, we would love to hear from you. Apply now to be part of
this small, innovative team of clinicians dedicated to changing our
community one relationship at a time. Salary range: $45,000 -
$100,000 yearly
