HDR is seeking a Transit Engineering Leader to guide a successful
and growing practice in the Mid-Atlantic (Washington DC, Maryland,
and Virginia). This leader will provide programmatic and technical
leadership as well as project management for a variety of transit
engineering related contracts and clients. This position requires
strong management skills and experience working with a variety of
transit capital projects such as track, structures, facilities, and
systems. In addition to leading delivery efforts, this role will
also guide program growth, client engagement, and industry
involvement.
The ideal candidate will have experience with local transit
agencies such as the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit
Authority, the Maryland Transit Administration, Virginia Railway
Express, Virginia Passenger Rail Authority, and the Virginia
Department of Rail and Public Transportation.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate knowledge of
applicable Federal, State, and Local standards and requirements and
will have extensive knowledge of transit-focused project delivery
processes such as conceptual design and feasibility, environmental
documentation, preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate
(PS&E), and providing Design Support During Construction
(DSDC).
